Post Graduate Programme in Business Management
This is one of the best programmes of the IIM Bangalore. The available seats for this programme are around 240 and it contains two years of course duration. The summer project offered to students by IIM Bangalore in Two years of Duration. IIM Bangalore is offering largest variety of courses for specialization in the second year of the PGP. IIM Bangalore separated their Admission procedure for domestic candidates and overseas candidates. The Admission procedure for domestic students depends on performance in CAT scholastic achievement, work experience, performance in the group discussions, written summary of group discussion, interview and three letters of reference. Overseas candidates would have to apply directly. They have to complete Graduate Management Aptitude taste and have to report IIM Bangalore officially for their results in GMAT.
PGSEM – Post Graduate Programme in Software Enterprise Management
IIM Bangalore and IIM Chennai are simultaneously offering this programme. The programme is developed for software professional working in software and information technology industries. The programme would take two and half academic years and participate could be graduate with diploma degree while working his/her regular place of employment. 150 students would be eligible for this course if they have completed their graduation and will satisfy the condition of two year working experience in software or IT Industries. Selection procedures are on the basis of CAT / GMAT / PGSEM Admission Test and personal interview.
PGPPM – Post Graduate Programme in Public Policy & Management
This is full time two year of program which earn you Post Graduate Diploma in Public and Management. The course has been designed to equip professional, civil servants with management skills & Techniques to formulating public policy and strategic management of public system. The Government of India promoting this programme to teach officers of all India and central services.
Doctoral Programme
This is Ph.D equivalent programme offered by IIM Bangalore. The students will study normal Post Graduate Programme for first two years and then they will work on advanced courses and for their doctoral thesis. To get Admission candidate should have completed Master Degree with Minimum of 55% marks or Charted Accountant with minimum 55% marks or B.E or B Tech with at least 60% marks and two years of working experience required. Moreover the candidate must have to be eligible for CAT – Common Entrance Test
