Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal educational trust has been established NMIMS in late 1981.

In the starting the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management has launched Master Degree Programme in Management.

NMIMS was lucky enough to get accredited certificate with five start rating among the Top MBA Colleges in India by the sponsored National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

The institute also accredited with status of deemed university among the Top Colleges in India in January 2003. Below is the list of management programme offered by Narsee Monjee Institute Management and Higher Studies.

MBA – Master in Business Administration
This is two year full time programme with specialization in International Business, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources & Behavioral Science information System, Operation, Rural Marketing, Advertising and Communications. Those who want to enroll for this course should have completed Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks. There are only 240 seats available for this course in NMIMS. Selection would be depends on two tire of process where in  first phase you have to appear for NMAT – National Management Aptitude Test and in Second phase there would be Group Discussion and Personal interview held by Narsee Monjee Institute of Management.

MBA  in Pharmaceuticals Management
This is another full time programme with two years of course duration for Science and Pharmacy Students.
Candidates wishing  Admission in this programme would have completed  Graduates or  Post Graduates in Life sciences or Bio-medicine or  Chemical Engineering or Pharmacy or Medicine with minimum 50% marks, Also candidate should have two years of working experience in the relevant field. Selection would be on the basis of NMAT, group discussion and personal interview.

MBA in Capital Markets
The aim to develop An integrated course of academic studies with coordination wit BSE. Candidates wishing Admission in this course would have completed their Bachelor’s degree with a minimum aggregate of 50% and also having minimum of two-years working experience in organizations recognized by SEBI, IRDA, PFRDA, Forward Markets Commission or any Bank. Selection would be on the basis of NMAT, group discussion and personal interview.

MBA in Actuarial Science
This is the programme designed for the students who love to plat with statistics. Students who have completed their graduation and post graduation with statistics or mathematics or engineering or economics with at least 50% marks. Those who are not completed their graduation with above specialization would also eligible if the satisfied the condition of 80% marks in mathematics in 12th standard.

MBA in Global Business
This is another two year Management programming for working professional has been designed to sharpen the skill of global business. Students wishing to take this course should have to complete 3 years of graduation course with at least 50% at the last year and also having 2 years of working experience. Candidate would be selected on the basis of NMAT, GD and Personal Interview.

MBA in Retail Management
With the increased demand of Retail Management professional NMIMS has offering this course with full time and having two years of course duration. The eligibility criteria should be satisfied by students is he/she has 3 years of Graduation with at least 50% marks at last year. Candidate would be selected on the basis of NMAT, GD and Personal Interview.

MBA in Services Management
This is another two years of full time course for working professional related to services sectors.
This is a full time, two year course specially designed to meet the needs of services sector. Students wishing to take this course should have to complete 3 years of graduation course with at least 50% at the last year and also having 2 years of working experience. Candidate would be selected on the basis of NMAT, GD and Personal Interview.

Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management for Family Business
In India There is lots of family business working extremely well and giving thrust to Indian Economy. To take part in family business, There are many business owners and mangers wishing to sharpen there skill to heightens there business in high competition. NMIMS has launched this programme in 1999 for this professional. Candidates seeking admission to the programme must have a 3-year Bachelor’s Degree, good communication skills, and actual involvement in the running of the family business. Admission is on the basis of a multiple choice question test and a rigorous personal interview.

With the wide list of above programme, NMIMS also offering part time MBA programme as well doctoral programme too.
