BIT Bangalore – Bangalore Institute of Technology came into existence in the year 1979 under the patronage of Vokkaligara Sangha, Bangalore. It is one of the Top Engineering Colleges in India that offers wide range of graduate engineering courses and it’s affiliated to the Visveswaraiah Technological University, Belgaum, located in the heart of Bangalore, India.

The institute primarily offered the B.E. – Bachelor of Engineering  degree in Civil, Mechanical and Electrical . BIT was the first institute to launch a full-fledged Computer Science & Engineering degree in Karnataka. Thus it has acknowledged future growth areas and integrated a variety of courses over the years. There are several centres functioning inter-disciplinary research and many combined programmes that exist between the college and other institutions, like IISc, N.A.L, etc. BIT is also a program centre for IGNOU. Currently it offers a number of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, with strength of more than 2500 students.

For MCA -Graduation from the relevant field is necessary to be eligible for the course. For MBA- The candidate should be Graduate with any field from any recognized University or institution. Entrance Examination is held for admission in MCA & MBA.
