For UG Program

Candidate pass in 10+2 or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and atleast one of Mathematics/Biology. Candidates who have not studied Mathematics as a subject are eligible for the Biology-based branches only, namely, Bioinformatics, Biomedical and Biotechnology. Others are eligible for all the branches, including the Biology-based branches. Candidates appearing for 10+2 examination in March/April 2013 can also apply.

For PG in Engineering Program

Eligibility Criteria for UGET
Candidates looking  admission for B.A/B.Com/ B.B.A/B.Sc/B.C.A/B.Pharm/ B.A.L.L.B.(Hon)/B.Ed integrated and belonging to general (GC) and OBC categories must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination securing at least 50% marks in aggregate in their qualifying examination (QE) or CGPA not less than 4.0 in 10 point grade scale (0-9) or equivalent marks in the QE.; whereas, those belonging to SC, ST and PC (physically challenged) categories must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination securing at least 45% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA in the QE.

This will put an end to the trend of having multiple entrance exams so as to get admissions to different colleges. There were separate exams for each states conducted to get admissions in the government colleges. Some private associations had separate exams to have seats in the management stream in earlier years. There are separate admission tests for big private universities.

The government has propses to have CET (Common Entrance TEST) for the students applying for the engineering and medical courses. There will be JTEE conducted for the students wishing to choose engineering course . An NEET test for the students aspiring to apply for the MBBS and MD?MS courses. Also there will be NEET-UG (Undergraduate) for BDS and MBBS courses and an NEET PG for the postgraduate Medical courses.

But there were many loopholes for NEET PG, which consisted of technical failure, exams centers at distant places from residing places, no change of location or refund once the person has registered for exam. This showed  a defeat for the exam as it was loss of money and time for students.

The NEET –UG  has its own challenge and Special states have put front their request with CoBSE. JEE is proposed for IIT, NIIT and other IT field institutes

Registration for NEET-PG ends on 12^th November , 2012 and exams will be conducted between 23^rd November to 6^th December 2012 at 47 centres across 33 cities. JEE details available on website and NEET-UG will make debut in 2013.

The Chief Minister of Andra Pradesh has stated that the state syllabus of class XII has been designed keeping in mind the EAMCET format for the medical seats. But yet the HRD ministry proposed the NEET test for undergraduates and postgraduates for 2013 medical seats.

The Medical and Health principal secretary have filed a petition against NEET 2013. This petition states the freedom of AP under section 371(D) which allows the non-local and local students to apply for professional course under the orders given by the President of India. The NEET abolishes this constitutional protection.

The class XII students currently have prepared for state syllabus and not the NEET syllabus. Also they NEET exam will be conducted in English and Hindi. Thus, the students will be a disadvantage for Telugu medium students who will take NEET Exam.

But Still after all arguments and Chaos , a green signal has been given for NEET in 2014

It has been observed that the students have not been prepared for the online exams and also they don’t have a proper environment for practice of online exams . These students have till today worked and given manual preparations. But after this announcement, the students will be able to prepare with the help of mock test and get ready to give the exams online. Therefore, Student Guideline started 50 All India mock test series which contains Topic wise practice and full extent mock test.

This online exam will help the students to have a comparison of the results with the students from all over India because the end selection is always done on the basis of the overall performance in comparison with others.

Important Dates

The online CWE Clerk II exam will be held on the 5^th of Novemeber 2012. Students registering before 30^th October 2012 will get 5 bonus. The exams will be conducted in two languages English and Hindi. Any updates and changes will be informed timely.

A common entrance exam for medical students will be conducted by C.B.S.E. For all the M.B.B.S courses. Earlier there were 17 entrance tests which had to be cleared by the students for getting admission in 271 colleges.

Now, NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance test ) will be conducted for Undergraduate courses that will come under the ambit of Medical Council India(MCI). Out of these 133 colleges come under private management and 138 comes under the Government. The other change in the exam is, instead of considering the percentage marks, the percentile will be considered. This criteria will fill all the seats.

The syllabus for the entrance exam has also been revised by MCI. NEET will be rolled out in 2013. For post graduation courses, NEET-PG will be conducted. A single mandatory exam which will be held across 33 cities. The best thing about this exam is, the students can select their location, time and date of the exam online. Some other medical exams as well have been converted to computer based. For example DNB-CET is also changing from paper exam to computerized one.

The registration and scheduling needs to be checked by the students as the window will open on October 4 until November 2012.

However, the decision was against the students and few student organizations are supporting the amendment in JEE. The authority declared the format of JEE exam will remain same and will not change at all. When asked for reasons, the official replied that it will maintain the competitiveness of the examination and will allow testing talent of students at every aptitude level. On the other hand the official further said that the decision was taken against some of the queries mainly because those students who are able to do well might get some relief. The changes are not easy as other format may not fully test until not given them a competitive platform to perform well.

JEE, exam dates are out and exam will be held on April 7 2013. JEE exam will consider and ask only objective type questions and the exam paper will be available in three languages English, Hindi and Gujarati. Questions asked in the JEE exam will be from 3 main subjects Physics, chemistry and Maths.

As per the announcement in 2013 JEE, this exam will hold 50% weightage of marks from the JEE main examination score and rest 50% will be counted from marks gained in XII (higher secondary class).

In addition, the education ministry declared that instead of candidate’s percentage, rank will be taken into account in order of merit list. Students are required to fill JEE exam forms online only.

State government has even announced to replace even all India engineering entrance exam for admission in engineering colleges all over India with JEE exam.

As per the ministry, organizing the JEE exam will save students from three different exams such as AIEEE, IIT-JEE and GUJCET in order to take admission in National Institute of technology.

November 23rd, 2012 to December 6th, 2012

Aspirants of NEET 2013 are acknowledged that the online forms for admission in Postgraduate medical entrance exam tests 2013 is out and are in progress since October 4 to 12^th November.

Students who wish to appear in NEET 2013 exam is supposed to buy exam vouchers from the nearest axis bank branch. These vouchers must be against the payment fees for the examination and will be required in the online registration process.

In the process for registration in NEET 2013 examinations, students are supposed to fill the form online and after successful form filling voucher no will be asked in order to process payment of the applicant.

Complete Procedure for registration in NEET 2013 examination is required to be done online. Students will be informed about the examination dates and the centre allotted to them via internet on their respective email ids.

Students must not worry in case if they are unable to access the admission site. As per the statement by officials there is heavy number of applicants applying for admission daily so the site might delay to open depending on server load.  Students who are unable to open site continuously at day hours can easily register early morning or at night as the server load is less that said official.

What is CMAT – Common Management Admission Test?

CMAT is Common Entrance Exam for All those Management institutes in India who are AICTE Approved as well running MBA and Post Graduate Diploma in Management courses. This Entrance Exam has been designed to reduce the extra burden of Students who want to appear for Management courses. Now those students do not need to worry for different entrance exam for each institute, rather they need get prepared for CMAT to get admission all Top MBA Colleges in India which comes under AICTE Approval.

How Many Colleges will accept the CMAT

 The idea will give you chance to appear for admission around 4000 B-Schools that offer MBA and another 500 which run diploma programs will accept CMAT scores for their program

Difference between CAT and CMAT

Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) and entrance exams conducted by deemed universities will remain as it is.

Structure of CMAT

AICTE has announced its intention to conduct CMAT as an online computer based test (though the possibility of it being a paper-and-pencil test in the year 2013 is still not ruled out). The test will contain MCQs(multiple choice questions) based on four sections viz. Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness. The test duration will be around 3 hours.
