CBSE PMT Exam 2013 – Dates, Eligibility & Application Procedure:- According to the new laws as directed by the Supreme Court of India, the Central Board of Secondary Education conducts the Pre Medical Test (PMT). The test is taken to select candidates with t 15% merit position in different medical colleges and also in some of the dental colleges. The colleges will have the chance to select the best of the 15% of students on a nation-wide exam that takes no count o the State specific exam in the process according to the new system. the PMT I based on the 10+2 syllabus of the CBSE course. The merit list will be prepared by CBSE according to the seat available on All India basis.
There are special rules made by the Board to make the system more clear and have the best students get the chances to student medicine in different colleges. The All India test will surely have the highest valued test that can rightly choose the best o the medical student from all over the country. The patterns are not followed by the new system of PMT by the CBSE and that is why the ways to prepare for CBSE PMT have been changed. Exam language: For the CBSE PMT the student is given to choose between English and Hindi. The application form will have the option given. It is there that the student will clear about the chosen language. The language as chosen cannot be changed. Thus choosing the language becomes important. The question paper will come in English and Hindi nd the students re to give the answers in CBSE PMT with the language chosen in the application form. There is not such chance to change it later. In any case there is a problem in understanding the question, it is important to remember that the authorities will give preference to the English version.
CBSE PMT syllabus: It is to be remembered that the exam is based on the syllabus form 10+2. The Boards have cleared that this is will not be changed. The syllabus will include the curriculum of CBSE, ICSE and different Sate Boards. Thus it is important for the candidates to take on the subjects rather in a stricter manner. The syllabus will include the syllabuses from Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Qualifications required for CBSE PMT: It is important that the students going or the CBSE PMT must have cleared the required criteria that is needed for the exams to be appeared for. The CBSE PMT Exam can be given if the students have 50% marks in 10+2. That will also include the marks for Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English taken together. It is important that the candidates have passed form a school under a recognized Board or University. The rule is for the General and OBC students. For SC and SR students there is concession in marks given. They can appear for CBSE PMT exam with 40% marks in the qualifying test.
Exam papers: There will b 2 papers for the test. It can be said that the result will be calculated based on the assessment of the papers. The first one will contain questions on Physics and Chemistry, and then the second paper will have the papers of Botany and Zoology. The papers will have a time of 2 hour to complete.
