Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology Gandhinagar was established in the year 2001 and it is named after the renowned Gujarati industrialist Dhirubhai Ambani, initiator of Reliance group.

It began its venture in August 2001; with its flagship program i.e. Bachelor of Technology in Information and Communication Technology by taking 240 students in the program.

The institution has distinguished faculty with proficiency in fields of software design, VLSI, Multimedia design and RF engineering.

At present it is broadly rated as one of the top 10 private Information and communication technologies (ICT) institutes in India. It also is amongst one of the top engineering colleges India.

Eligibility criteria for Undergraduate programmes:

For B.Tech. – The candidate should have cleared Higher Secondary Examination or 10+2 from any recognized Central / state board.

Eligibility criteria for Postgraduate programmes:

For M.Tech. – The candidate should have cleared his or her BE/B.Tech from any recognized University or Institution.

For M.Sc. – Graduation from the relevant field is necessary to be eligible for the course.

For M.Des. – Graduates in any discipline who have at least four years of education after completion of 10+2 or equivalent.

Eligibility criteria for PhD programmes:

The candidates must have done their Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with the field of Technology.

Admission procedure for Undergraduate programmes:

The admission in this program is on the basis of All India Engineering Entrance Exam (AIEEE) and the counselling.

Admission procedure for postgraduate programmes:

For M.Tech. – For the admission in this program valid GATE score is important.

For M.Sc. – The admission in this program on the basis of All India Entrance Test.
