Students those have appeared in the final year of exam for bachelor’s degree from any recognized university under UGC Act, 1963 can also give the MAH MCA CET test. The students that have BCA or BCA degree need not have Mathematics and Statistics in 10+2.

NIMCET exam pattern:

The exam pattern is quit easier with 120 questions in objective type having 4 marks for every question. The questions will have options. If wrong option is chosen it will cut 1 mark. Eligibility for SRMEEE:

The exam can be given by people that are having certain criteria. The University is taking SRMEEE on All India basis. There are certain criteria that need to be fulfilled by the candidates.

• It is important that the candidate is Indian. Without being Indian, the test can never be taken. It is important that the candidate has passed from an Indian school in the last years.

• It is necessary that the candidates must have passed 10+2 exam or equivalent from any recognized university or Board. For B. Tech the number list from SRMEEE will be taken as the final assessment term. It is also important that the students have the necessary marks for the exams which is set by SRM University. The common admission test or CAT conducted by the Indian Law Institute is for the 2 year post graduate program in Law, that is, a masters degree in Law or LLM.

Eligibility Criteria

There are a few criteria which a candidate must fulfill to become eligible for the ILI CAT exam organized by the Indian Law Institute. Firstly he/she has to be an Indian citizen otherwise one cannot sit for the admission test. Since this is a post graduate course, the candidates are also expected to hold a bachelors degree in Law or LLB which is recognized by BCI or Bar Council Of India. Final year graduation students who are awaiting their results are also eligible for the test. The examinee should have at least an aggregate of 50% marks at his/her graduation level.

Syllabus For The Test

There is a specific syllabus assigned for ILI CAT that is undertaken every year by thousands of students to pursue higher studies in Law. The group discussion topics and the viva voce are as important as the written tests and determine the student’s eligibility for admission to the masters course. The syllabus covers 4 different sections. Part 1 is all about English Language and General Knowledge in a broader sense. LAWCET 2013 Exam Date

So far the date for the 2013 entrance test has not yet been scheduled. The exam usually takes place in the month of June and the dates will be updated once it has been declared.

An interested candidate can apply for an online application form for LAWCET. The online application will cost them Rs.250 as examination fees while an offline application will be worth Rs.275.

Eligibility For The Test

The students appearing for the five year or three year LLB program must fulfill the following criteria in order to become eligible for LAWCET conducted by Sri Venkateswara University and at various centers across the cities of Andhra Pradesh.

For a 3 years LLB or BL program a candidate must be a graduate from any recognized university, in any stream, with minimum of 45% marks in aggregate. For SC/ST/OBC candidates the minimum marks is 40%. The students who are appearing for their final year exams under the Bachelors course or are awaiting their final results, can also apply for the competitive test.

Most importantly the examinee must be a citizen of India or else he/she will be disqualified from appearing for the exam even if he/she fulfills the rest of the criteria. The age limit for the students is 30 years maximum in case of general category in order to be eligible for the Test, whereas the maximum age restriction for the exam in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates is 35 years.

For a 5 years LLB or BL program a candidate should have passed their higher secondary examination or plus two level or any other equivalent exam from a recognized university with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate. For SC, ST and other backward candidates it is fixed at 40% marks. The candidates must be within the age limit of 20 years in order to be eligible for LAWCET, and for SC or ST candidates the maximum age can be 22 years. Students who are yet to appear for the qualifying exams or those who are awaiting their results may apply for the entrance test. Graduates, too, can apply.

Syllabus For LAWCET

Sri Venkateswara University does not specify any particular syllabus for the common entrance test. Usually the 120 marks test for the five year LLB program is based on the plus two level syllabus which one has to cover elaborately. For the three year LLB program, the institution notifies that the syllabus is based on the graduation level. Questions will be chosen from what has been taught in the graduation course and given in the test. The question paper has three sections, of which part 1 consists of 30 questions on general mental ability and general knowledge, part 2 consists of 30 questions too on current affairs and part 3 covers 60 questions from the field of law. These are all multiple choice questions and 90 minutes are allotted for their completion.

There are special rules made by the Board to make the system more clear and have the best students get the chances to student medicine in different colleges. The patterns are not followed by the new system of PMT by the CBSE and that is why the ways to prepare for CBSE PMT have been changed. Exam language: For the CBSE PMT the student is given to choose between English and Hindi. The application form will have the option given. It is there that the student will clear about the chosen language. The language as chosen cannot be changed. Thus choosing the language becomes important. CBSE PMT syllabus: It is to be remembered that the exam is based on the syllabus form 10+2. The Boards have cleared that this is will not be changed. The syllabus will include the syllabuses from Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Qualifications required for CBSE PMT: It is important that the students going or the CBSE PMT must have cleared the required criteria that is needed for the exams to be appeared for. The CBSE PMT Exam can be given if the students have 50% marks in 10+2. That will also include the marks for Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English taken together. It is important that the candidates have passed form a school under a recognized Board or University.  The rule is for the General and OBC students. For SC and SR students there is concession in marks given. They can appear for CBSE PMT exam with 40% marks in the qualifying test.

Exam papers: There will b 2 papers for the test. It can be said that the result will be calculated based on the assessment of the papers. The first one will contain questions on Physics and Chemistry, and then the second paper will have the papers of Botany and Zoology. The papers will have a time of 2 hour to complete.

When Did CLAT Start

The test became effective from 2008 when the first examination was scheduled on May 11, being conducted by NLSIU – Bangalore. Why CLAT Became Effective

Earlier the several law colleges in India used to conduct separate admission tests respectively. What resulted in that was the inconvenience faced by the students who often found the exam dates and timings clashing with other important or competitive tests. Moreover there were many candidates appearing for more than one of these exams conducted at different colleges on different dates, thereby not allowing a certain chunk of the students for acquiring the seats. These students may be otherwise quite intelligent and studious but situation did not let them to fulfill their dreams. Then CLAT was introduced so that every student got a fair chance in appearing for the same examination conducted on the same date.

CLAT 2013 Date

The 2 hours all India test conducted by all the 14 law colleges of India is for both their under graduate and post graduate courses. The 2013 exam is scheduled on May 12 from 3.00pm to 5.00pm.

The interested candidates can apply for an online form as well. The 2013 CLAT application forms are available January 15 onwards.

Eligibility Criteria

For an under graduate course, the candidates appearing for the test must have minimum 50% marks at his/her plus two level, that is, higher secondary examination or any other equivalent exam. For the SC/ST/OBC or disabled candidates the aggregate marks should be above 45%. A student must be within the age of 20 years to be eligible for the test in the general category, else the age limit is 22 years.

For a post graduate course, the candidates should have qualified with LL.B. or B.L. degree or some other equivalent one, from any recognized University with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate, which has been fixed at 50% for SC/ST/OBC or disabled students.

Syllabus For CLAT

Given below is the detailed information on the question pattern for CLAT exams, of both under graduate and post graduate programs.

For an under graduate course the candidates have to appear for a 200 marks question paper within a time duration of 2 hours. There are 200 questions in total, each of which will carry 1 mark. The subjects to be followed are English grammar and comprehension of 40 marks, General knowledge and Current affairs of 50 marks, Legal aptitude of 50 marks, Elementary mathematics of 20 marks and Logical reasoning of 40 marks.

For a post graduate course the students will have to appear for a 150 marks question paper within a time slot of 2 hours. One has to write 4 long essay type questions of 25 marks each, and 50 multiple choice questions of 1 mark each, all of which basically cover the Constitutional Law and Jurisprudence.

There are certain rules to be followed for the SVU LAWCET. The entrance test is to be given by the applicants following the steps that are set by the BCI and APSCHE.

1. The application form of the LAWCET is to be filled properly. There shall be no cut marks on the applications. The application form must reach the given address on the website before the date mentioned there. It is important to know that the form shall be sent through speed post or registered post.
2. Applicant must get the application number. Whenever asked, the applicant must give the SVU LAWCET application number to the Convener.
3. Specific course is to be mentioned. For students that fill the course time with a mistake on 3 years on 5 years or the other, the form will not be accepted.
4. The rules will be followed according o the general orders from BCI or APSCHE. Students are also advised to take the ICR carefully on the application form.

Citizenship or SVU LAWCET exam:

It is important that the applicant must be Indian with criteria satisfying for the Andhra Pradesh Unreserved class according to the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institute (Regulation of Admissions) Order, 1974.

SVU LAWCET test papers:

The test is to test the capability of the students in thinking logically. The tests are taken on the basis of reasoning and the general sets that can match the requirements. The SVU LAWCET papers are divided in 3 parts.

• There are 30 questions (having 30 numbers in total) on General Knowledge and mental logical thinking.

Different measures for LSAT:

The LSAT is taken to actually assess the skills of the applicants and the chances of them to make progress in the different schools in the countries that they can apply for.
