How to Get Admission in BCA
BCA or Bachelor in Computer Application is regulated by the different institutes and the admissions are done on the basis of different criteria. As BCA offers great future in professional field, people mostly like to be a part of the course.
BCA admission process: The admission to this course is done on various things in the line. The process is more likely to be a part of the general admission system that starts with open form fill up systems and general merit list. The colleges though sometimes can offer better chances to get the admissions done through general list publishing but some cases are of course different specifically those of the better Indian colleges. There are certain steps that are followed in case of BCA admission.
The first thing that is needed for the admission is the number in 10+2 exams.
The primary criteria are set on this number as the colleges demand for higher numbers. With the required number in the score sheet a candidate can actually get the form. There are online based form distribution systems along with offline forms that are available directly from the colleges.
The forms are to be filled by the candidates and it is necessary to understand that the Indian colleges ask for Mathematics in the 12th exam subject selections. Though there are certain open universities that offer BCA with any stream.
Often the colleges go for an entrance test. The main entrance test that occurs in India for the admission is the CET which allows the best students to be a part of the most famous colleges.
The students from science group have to face a higher number demand than those of the commerce students. For commerce students, mathematics as a compulsory subject can be replaced with other ones like Business Organization and Statistics.
In case of science students, practical marks are also considered to be a part of the total mark calculation during the admissions to these colleges.
The percentile marks that the colleges demand based on CET varies from one college to another. It is important for students to get the firsthand news on the college marks demand as well as the percentile demand before applications.
Selection for admissions: BCA admissions selection does not have much complicated steps. The first one is the form selection which is done by the HR Dept. The selected candidates must have to go a test for entering the college admissions board. The candidates who pass the exam will be called on for an interview. If the candidates pass the personal interview round, admissions are considered to be done with submitting an amount of money within a given time.
BCA is surely a good course and admissions are also not complicated.
