IISc (Indian Institute of Science) from Bangalore has ranked the institute on 35th position for being the best Global employer for 2012. It is the first institute from India which has its name in the list. This development has given new ray of hope to others for applying to the institute. This drastic growth in rankings of the institute is commendable as in 2011 it was ranked on 134th position. This year the rankings have climbed in the employability list. There are other institutes in like Harvard, Stanford, Cambridge, Yale, Goethe-University, MIT, Princeton, Oxford, Imperial College, Frankfurt College of London are ranked top 10 in the list. The list has been prepared with co-ordination of the Trendence (German institute) and the French consulting emerging organization that excels in employability.
The main strength of IISc is the ability of hiring excellent faculty which trains students and prepares them for the recruitment. There are many heterogeneous students which are sleeked for contributing in the fresh and innovative development of the companies. Some brilliant pass out students easily get employment after completing the studies from IISc.
The recruiters are seeking strong skills in the students which they can see in as employees. Technical and doctoral students are sound in their areas then they become the employer’s first choice.
