IIT Guwahati – Indian Institute of Technology

IIT Guwahati is one of the Top Engineering Colleges in India. It has established in late 1994 and joined IIT Chain in India with 6^th number of Membership. And In Late 1995 they have started to launch engineering course under the title of IIT. Along with other IITs in India like IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, IIT Bombay , IIT Madras and IIT Kharagpur, IIT Guwahati also considered  as big push in  technical education in the northeastern region of India.

With expansion of their campus in the are of 285 hectors they have established Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and communication Engineering, Engineering Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics & Computing branches. Currently they are running with eleven  department covering all engineering and science course. IIT Guwahati is consider as Top Engineering Colleges in India and internationally within very short period of time. Also they Government of India has officially declared IT Guwahati  as the institution of National Importance.

Eligibility Criteria for Undergraduate Programmes

For enroll in M.Des,  M.Tech and MA The candidate should have completed Graduation in BE/B.Tech from any recognized University or Institution.

Admission Process:

Admission for the course of M.Tech and M. Des would be happens once in year in the month of July and You should have successfully passed the GATE Entrance Exam.
