Indian Institute of Management from Ahmadabad started its amazing and much awaited placement process on Monday 13th February with many big international names in premises. It is surprising to see that IIM A managed to have all international regular recruiters besides of the economic crisis. Boston Consulting Group, Oliver Wyman, McKinsey, Accenture, AT Kearney, HSBC, Credit Suisse and few more were present.
The cluster –I placements was conducted in 2 cohorts like the global strategy consulting and International investment banks. Maximum offers were rolled out by the BCG by taking 17 Post Graduate management Program students. The BCG also stated that they will come back again next year to IIM-A as they prefer taking qualified students form here for their endeavors growth. BCG is popular and most common recruiter for IIM-A students, past many years now. Several offers were made for domestic locations and international destinations for London and New York. 372 PGP students of IIM-A participated for cohort placement process. This time the gap between 2 clusters from one week has been reduced to only 2 days. Earlier the placement process extended for long one month but this time it’s only for 2 weeks.
The cluster -2 placement process will start from February 17, 2012.
