NEET Introduction:

NEET 2013 all India medical entrance exams is organized and scheduled to be conducted on May 5 2013. NEET or National Eligibility cum Entrance Test is a qualifying exam which is necessary to qualify for aspirants who wish to appear different under graduate and post graduate courses in the field of medical study. It will allow aspirants and will serve as a qualifying ranking based exam for students who wish to attend top medical colleges for MBBS and BDS courses all over India. Based on NEET exam marks and ranking, students will be offered and allotted different medical colleges.

NEET Exam Pattern:

NEEET exam for UG 2013 will consist of 180 questions that will be asked in 4 different subjects namely Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. Time allotted to complete 180 questions will be 3 hours or 180 minutes.

NEET 2013 Exam Important Dates

Last Date of application: January 15th 2013 12.00 Noon
Issue of Admit Cards: by April 15th 2013
Exam Date: Last Sunday of May

NEET UG Syllabus:

NEET for under graduation syllabus consist of 4 main subjects namely physics, chemistry, botany and zoology. Each subject consists of 5-6 units. Topics offered in each and every subject are very co-related to higher secondary education studies and in some cases topics are almost same. Being a National level exam for medical students are supposed to study botany and zoology in detail as it serves the major portion of marks distribution. Results of NEET will rank students based on marks scored. As per the ranking of NEET, admissions in different medical colleges all around India will take place.

NEET PG Syllabus:

The NEET PG syllabus is yet to be announced officially.  However the syllabus is supposed to be deeply concentrated on basic medical subjects and as NEET will replace other common entrance exams conducted earlier, subjects will remain same most probable with expected changes in marks distribution of different subjects.

NEET Application Form:

NEET application form is available online. Aspirants who wish to appear are supposed to fill NEET application form within the last date. There are some fees associated with the NEET application form which is required to be filled in order to get form accepted. Centres for NEET examinations will be declared soon after the form filling phase of NEET examination gets completed.
