Nirma Institute of Technology (NIT) is privately owned by philanthropist and industrialist Dr. Karsanbhai K. Patel, Chairman. NIT and was established in 1995 by Nirma Group of Industries.

NIT Programmes Structure is approved by AICTE & Government of Gujarat. Three programmes accredited by NBA (AICTE) “A” grade institution and it is one of the Top Engineering college in India as per accreditation by Tata Consultancy Services. NIT is very popular because of its Faculty who pours Education to the students and makes them winner of National Awards for Best Overall performance. NIT has Won Best Principal for the year 2002 by Indian Society for Technical education (ISTE) Students won National ROBOCON 2002 and represented country in Tokyo
