In response to recent queries to group of students and various student organizations for changing the paper format of the joint entrance exam, the Joint admission board declared that the format of the under graduate exam will remain same and no changes will apply to it. Recently queries were made by students to also include detail and practical, theoretical questions in the JEE exam instead of only multiple choice questions. The query was raised mainly because multiple choice questions are hard to solve and time allocated to each question is quite less.
However, the decision was against the students and few student organizations are supporting the amendment in JEE. The authority declared the format of JEE exam will remain same and will not change at all. When asked for reasons, the official replied that it will maintain the competitiveness of the examination and will allow testing talent of students at every aptitude level. On the other hand the official further said that the decision was taken against some of the queries mainly because those students who are able to do well might get some relief. The changes are not easy as other format may not fully test until not given them a competitive platform to perform well.
