Scholarship Row in Madhya Pradesh

Scholarship program which has been sponsored by the Ministry of Human resources and has been distributed by the Mp board has not been given to the students who had applied for the scholarship. The forms for the renewal of the Central Sector Scholarship Scheme also have not been put on the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education website (MPBSE).  This has caused much chaos and the students are facing hardships.

A district merit holder in 2008 in the commerce stream, Shruti Dixit got the amount in the year 2010-2011. But after that the renewal forms for the scholarship have not been uploaded by the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education. Shruti who is currently doing her MBA had recently checked the website and found out that the same form for the year 2010-2011 is still there in the site and no updates is given regarding the new forms.

The in-charge of the scholarship scheme could not be contacted for getting information from him on this issue. The scholarship amount is ten thousand rupees for the under graduate students and twenty thousand rupees for the post graduate students. The secretary of Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education said he was not aware of the matter and he will personally look into the matter for resolving the problem.
