10 Steps to get Admission in Symbiosis University:
Step 1
Visit the link http://www.symbiosis.ac.in/prog_off.html to browse through the list of programs offered by Symbiosis International University at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. Check the specific eligibility criteria for the program that you wish to apply to. Visit the website of the institute offering the program of your interest, for further details on the program.
Step 2
Visit the link http://siuinternational.smartapply.in Register with Smart Apply to apply online for Undergraduate / Postgraduate International Admissions. If you face any difficulty in logging on to this link, you may click here for details of the Paper Based Application Procedure.
Step 3
You will have to register with Smart Apply with a valid email ID. You will then go through a five-step profile creation process. This profile information will be used to fill out your application form to a program under SIU.
All of your information, captured on Smart Apply, is for the following aspects of your application form:
- Personal Details : to maintain a unique record of your application information.
- Contact Details : to enable the International Office to send you all official correspondence as part of the admission procedure.
- Educational Details : to determine your basic eligibility to apply for any specific program at Symbiosis International University.
- English Proficiency Details : (for Foreign Nationals and Persons of Indian Origin only) to determine your ability to pursue a full time degree program conducted in English.
- Statement of Purpose : to determine your inclination and suitability to join a specific program at Symbiosis International University.
- Letters of Recommendation : to authenticate and endorse the Statement of Purpose.
- Curriculum Vitae : to provide you with an opportunity to include anything else which may have a positive impact towards your application to Symbiosis International University.
Step 4
Attach all the relevant documents, as instructed, in the documents section of Smart Apply.
Step 5
Enter correct and appropriate information in all the relevant fields.
Step 6
Check your application form before submitting it to the International Office. You will have the option of saving a draft for submission at a later date. However, applications once submitted cannot be edited / altered at a later date. The International Office will not process applications submitted after the deadline.
Step 7
An Application Fee of USD 150 must accompany all applications. The payment may be made online through the payment gateway, which appears, at the end of the application form. Alternatively, the payment may be made in person by downloading the Challan / Bank Receipt and paying in currency at the AXIS Bank Branch on Senapati Bapat Road, Pune 411 004.
Step 8
After making the online/ offline payment, take a print out of the completed application form. Affix a recent passport size photograph in the space provided and sign at the end of the form. Give / courier this print out of the application form to the International Office for their records. Do not send any other documents along with this application,
Step 9
Upon receipt of your online application form, accompanied by its corresponding fee, the International Office will send / courier an International Students Prospectus to your preferred location / address.
Step 10
Upon receipt of the International Students Prospectus, kindly refer to the pages specific to program and institute of your interest, for the detailed Syllabus, the tuition fee, relevant dates etc. All other related instructions relevant to the admission procedure can be found in the International Students Prospectus. Kindly refer to the same for all further details.

We would like you to go through the below detail for MBA program
Residential MBA Programme
Specializations:
Finance, Human Resources, Marketing and Operations Management
Duration: Two years full time.
Eligibility:
A graduate from any statutory university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) at graduation level. Candidates passing degree examination by part time or correspondence course are not eligible. Final year appearing students can apply but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) at qualifying examination.
Intake: 180
Reservation within intake:
• 15% and 7.5% of seats reserved for SC/ST candidates respectively
• 3% seats reserved for “Differently Abled” candidates (blind, hearing impaired (Deaf/dumb) mentally retarded or those with orthopaedic disorders). The minimum degree of disability should be 40% in order to be eligible under this category.
• 15% seats reserved for Management seats – applicant need to comply with all the eligibility norms and apply separately only after the entire process is complete. Appearing for SNAP test and filling of SIBM form is mandatory.
Reservation above intake:
• Kashmiri Migrants: 2 seats – children of migrants from J&K valley.
• 15% seats for International students.
Students can apply to one category only.
Fees :
Total fees – Rs. 3.5 lacs p.a. (total fees not including transportation)
Management Quota twice the total fees – per annum
Pre induction course fees as Rs. 25000/- (non-refundable)
Total hostel fees including deposit Rs. 1,00,000/- p.a
Selection Procedure : The selection of the students shall be on the basis of SNAP Test + Group Task + Personal Interview.
The shortlist for Group Discussion / Task & Interview shall be based on sectional and overall cutoff.

Selection Procedure : The selection of the students shall be on the basis of Entrance Test to be held on 30th May, 2010 (10.30 a.m to 12.30 p.m) followed by Personal Interview.
Entrance Examination : The paper will consist of Verbal Ability and Basics of Mathematics. There will be 150 questions to be solved in 120 minutes.
Intake : 100 seats
Programme Duration : The programme structure consists of 5 semesters (Classroom teaching and projects)
Programme Fees :Rs. 3.5 lacs 30 months (inclusive of examination fees, convocation, medical, etc.) payable in two installments yearly. Sem V only one installment.
