The Indian Institute of Management reached top position in Asia-Pacific B-Schools list
According to QS Global report IIM is in the top ten lists of Asia-Pacific B-Schools. The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad is in 2nd rank, IIM Bangalore in 5th rank and IIM Calcutta is in 8th rank. Compared to previous years IIM-C and IIM-B improved tremendously and reached top positions. Depend on the information provided by the recruiters QS global will rank the top ten Asia-Pacific B-Schools. In 1990 QS global started to rank the B-schools.
The ISB – Indian School of Business Hyderabad is in 7th rank whereas IIFT – Indian Institute of Foreign Trad, New Delhi is in 21st rank. INSEAD, Singapore holds the 1st position consecutively for the third time. National University of Singapore, University of New South Wales, and University of Melbourne are the other universities which are in top ten lists
Minimum number of international students in IIM
The finance sectors will recruit MBA graduates. Depend on the recruitment and specialization in MBA ranks will be provided for B-schools. The business schools in Asia-Pacific regions are more popular among people compared to others. The academic standards in these schools will be good. This may be a reason for the popularity. But only 10% of international students preferred to join in Asia-Pacific B-Schools. This would be a major concern for the recruiters. You can check the List of Top B Schools in India here
